Who this course is for

Who this course is for
This course, funded by UK government, is for Hampshire residents aged 19+ who would like to be better equipped to support their child’s learning.
Please note: Eligibility criteria applies and will be checked upon enrolment.
Prosp Aims
The aim of this course is to equip parents and carers with the knowledge, strategies and practical tools needed to confidently support their child’s transition into school. Through a combination of discussion, modelling and hands-on activities, the course will help families understand key expectations of school life and enhance children’s readiness for learning, independence and wellbeing.
To help everyone get the most out of the course, please note that it focuses on general strategies for supporting children’s school readiness, rather than personalised guidance around complex family circumstances, specialist SEND processes, or individual mental health needs. If you feel you may need more tailored support, we can help signpost you to the right services. We may also contact you before the course to ensure it’s a good fit for your needs.
