Prosp Aims
You will develop the practical knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to support successful fundraising activities across charities, schools, PTAs, hospices, care homes, and community organisations.

You will learn about a range of fundraising income streams and how to identify suitable funding opportunities. The programme will help you understand the principles of effective fundraising, including how to research funding sources, write successful grant applications, and create compelling cases for support.

You will also develop digital marketing skills to help you promote fundraising campaigns, engage supporters through social media, create impactful content, and maximise online fundraising opportunities.

Alongside fundraising techniques, you will strengthen key employability and professional skills, including communication, teamwork, leadership, organisation, and time management. These skills will enable you to make a positive impact within your organisation, community, or future career.

By the end of the programme, you will have a strong foundation in fundraising practice and be better prepared to contribute effectively to fundraising activities in a range of settings.

Prosp Objectives
Learners' previous knowledge, skills, and experience will be explored during the initial assessment and enrolment process. This information will be used to identify individual starting points and ensure that the programme is suitable for each learner.

Where initial assessment results are high, or where learners have significant prior knowledge or experience in fundraising, a suitability discussion will take place with the trainer to determine whether the programme will provide sufficient new learning and development opportunities. This process helps to ensure that all learners can make meaningful progress and benefit fully from the programme.

Teaching, learning activities, and support will be adapted where appropriate to meet individual learner needs and build on existing knowledge and experience.
Prosp Requirements
On completion of this course, learners may progress into volunteering, employment, or further learning within the fundraising, charity, and voluntary sectors.
