Who this course is for
This course is for eligible adults living in Hampshire aged 19+ who would like to gain skills using English in everyday situations. It is for people whose English is at Entry 2 / Elementary level.

Open Course Objectives

You will learn how to talk, read, and write about more interesting subjects. You will make fewer mistakes so people can understand you, you can understand them, and you can read and write important messages, emails, forms, and news stories. You will also be able to:

• Ask and answer questions
• Use clear pronunciation
• Understand an explanation
• Learn more about grammar
• Understand instructions
• Take part in a discussion

You will learn online via Microsoft Teams in small groups with an experienced, qualified ESOL tutor.

This course is for Hampshire residents age 19+ who meet our eligibility / UK residency criteria (residency in the UK for 3+ years or meeting one of the exemptions).
