Who this course is for
This programme will support you to apply for one of the thousands of jobs available in the education sector. You will find out about the skills, values and attitudes required to work in education, build your confidence for interviews, and learn how to target your CV and cover letter to this rewarding sector.
Prosp Aims
This programme will take you three weeks to complete and will include:

• A minimum of seven (three-hour) tutor-led, online group sessions. Sessions will take place during term time in school hours
• Employability tasks for you to carry out at home, in your own time
• A chance to meet employers and the opportunity to carry out a practice interview
• Access to a personal tutor with sector-based experience for information, support and guidance throughout the programme
Prosp Objectives
If you are a Hampshire resident age 19+ and currently in receipt of work or income related benefits, then Hampshire Achieves can offer you a three-week employability programme, completely free of charge. There are no formal entry requirements, although a keen interest in an educational setting is essential.
Prosp Requirements
You will be provided with a course completion certificate as well as information, support, and guidance to enable you to move into employment, volunteering, or further learning opportunities. You will also have the chance to enrol onto a Level 2 English and/or maths Functional Skills course at the end of your programme if you have not already achieved a grade C or above (or equivalent) in these core subjects.
