Who this course is for
This course is for eligible adults living in Hampshire aged 19+ who would like to gain skills using English in everyday situations. It will help you talk, read and write about more interesting subjects and make fewer mistakes so people can understand you, you can understand them, and you can read and write important messages, emails, forms and news stories. It is for people whose English is at Entry 2 / Entry 3 Level (Pre-Intermediate).

Open Course Requirements

This course if for Hampshire residents age 19+ who meet our eligibility / UK residency criteria (residency in the UK for at least 3+ years OR meeting one of our exemptions). Please contact our team for more details. This course is suitable where English is your second or other language (ESOL) at pre-intermediate level.

Open What this Course can lead to

You may progress onto our online ESOL Entry 3 or a Level 1 course. We also have multiple ESOL progression courses for those at Entry 3 and above (e.g. ‘Life in the UK’, ‘Driving in the UK’, ‘Job-seeking for ESOL’).

Hampshire Achieves also offers a range of other courses centred around employment, wellbeing, or gaining a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in either Maths or English if you do not already have one. Your tutor will discuss potential progression opportunities with you during your course.
